As a token of friendship between Australia and Korea, the Australia-Korea Foundation presented 30 pictures of Korea which was taken 100 years ago by George Ross to the National Institute of Korean History. George Rose traveled to Korea in 1904, during the Japanese-Russian war. The images were first shown to the public in 2002 as part of the Australia-Korea Foundation's 10th Anniversary Celebration Festival.
Because I am interested in Korean history, I choose this article. I think it is a good chance for students to understand Korean history. And we can learn foreigners point of views about Korea. I want to get an opportunity to see these pictures.
