South Korea and Japan on Saturday began a weeklong joint ocean survey of radioactivity in the East Sea. The eight-day survey is in line with an earlier agreement between the two countries to jointly survey the level of radioactive waste dumped by the former Soviet Union between the 1960s and the 1990s.
I didn’t know there is radioactive waste dumped by Soviet Union in the East Sea. Maybe this survey was conducted carefully. Because Dokdo is sensitive area to both nations. Anyway I hope there is no much radioactive waste. It is terrible thing!
